Lavender–Lemon Balm Syrup

Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 Tbsp dried culinary lavender or 2 tsp fresh
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lemon balm leaves lightly torn

Method
 

  1. In a saucepan, bring sugar and water to a simmer until dissolved.
  2. Remove from heat, stir in lavender and lemon balm, and cover. Steep 15 minutes.
  3. Strain and let cool. Store in fridge up to 2 weeks.
