There’s no denying the appeal and fandom of Bridgerton, the popular romance series set in Regency-era England. The book series by Julian Quinn & Netflix series inspired by the books draw a large following and the fan base continues to grow. I admittedly watched the Netflix series before starting to read the books but I am definitely a Bridgerton fan. While I think this crate certainly makes a lovely gift for a fellow Bridgerton fan, I think it’s equally delightful to treat oneself as well. Williams Sonoma has quite the bevvy of Bridgerton items. And I love them for it. Who wouldn’t want to picnic with this romantic and whimsical set? I can’t resist sharing one more item from Williams Sonoma: the petit fours. As a baker, I find petit fours to be quite the pain in the arse to make. But, oh, how I love to eat them. If you’re not familiar with this delectable and dainty dessert, it’s essentially a mini cake. In this instance, the confection is constructed from vanilla pound cake, mascarpone buttercream, strawberry preserves, and white chocolate fondant. They are then topped with organic wildflowers and lavender. Serve them for tea, share them with your fellow ladies for a Bridgerton-themed soiree, or just treat yourself as you read the pages from your favorite Bridgerton novel. The Official Bridgerton Cookbook
I was absolutely delighted to receive a copy of The Official Bridgerton Cookbook from my daughter’s boyfriend. He gave it to me for Christmas and it sparks so much joy for me. The cookbook contains stunning photos from both the Bridgerton Netflix series as well as the Queen Charlotte series. Recipes are divided into sections that pertain to the various families from the stories — The Featheringtons and Lady Danbury are included, of course. Both sweet and savory options abound in this collection which also includes helpful hosting tips and suggested menus. The cookbook is available in hardcover here for $20.01.
